Closer Look at the Nike Air Jordan 1 Shadow Satin Aleali

Nike Air Jordan 1 Shadow Satin Aleali is the coolest colourway ever! The Shadow theme looks simultaneously mysterious and intriguing. Black, white, silver and the classic Kings Starter jacket detail comes alive on this high collared kick’s upper canvas. This isn’t the first joining of the model and fashion consultant Aleali May and the Swoosh. Fans have witnessed her AJ 6 for FnF only. But this Jordan 1 comes outta veil for all the sneaker fans out there.

Corduroy detailing on almost the whole upper is a quite refreshing change for a sneaker. Using this special texture instead of a full-satiny design was pretty awesome. But this design is not just for the sake of it. It has a meaningful nod to May’s father and uncle who used to wear similar corduroy slippers when at home. Isn’t her throwback adorable?

Another twist is the ash coloured chenille Swoosh of the sidewall that is taken from the sportswear jacket of LA Kings Starter. It’s obviously a clear nod to her hometown LA. The black corduroy is beautifully contrasted with a silvery ash satin rear panel and toe box. It casts a stunning spell when contrasted with the black middle foot.
