Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nike Teamed Up For Zoom Freak 1 to continue their partnership and collection of “Coming to America”. The duo is naming this silo “Soul Glo” in reference to Prince Akeem’s interest in a commercial of spray-on hair product. He took a trip to the barbershop because of that advertisement. Similarly, this Swoosh runner takes inspiration from rich golden and yellow tones as well. This ’90s movie is Giannis’s favourite one, and he has been showing it off since July! You can’t but admire this 25-year-old player of Milwaukee Bucks! Giannis is the best and high-class combination of speed, smartness, skill, and size. He handles the ball like a pro and got the nickname “Greek Freak” because of it. His collab with Nike gave us the massively popular series of Zoom Freak. This week, he is dropping another iteration from his pack. “Soul Glo” will be here in a few days. So, you better be ready for the crowd!

The colour palette and the accents are all from Eddie Murphy’s film from ’88 that inspires and pushes the young basketball player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. “Soul Glo” theme follows charcoal black, golden yellow and bright crimson red just like the movie. Premium mesh uppers team up with supportive leather panels and patent leather tongue tab. The unique reverse Nike Swooshes make the midsole like any other Zoom Freak 1. Laser red piping and the mushy inner lining pop up as a devilish contrast. As a result, yellow sidewall Swoosh and Zoom midsole complete the look. Finally, the red-yellow Soul Glo stamp takes the insoles and the right tongue tab.
