MadeMe & Converse’s One Star Collaboration Pack Drops On This May

Converse partners with MadeMe, the NYC cool-girl brand to reveal its inaugural premium One Star Platform footwear collection for females. The much anticipated MadeMe & Converse’s One Star collaboration pack drops on this May. It boasts a lot of attitude through bold colours, textured materials and nostalgic idiosyncrasies.

Today, youth are discovering “nostalgia” by way of the 90s. It was a time in which cultural identity, bold attitudes and action resonate today. Together, Converse and MadeMe celebrate shared culture, influence and independent manner.

This classic reinvention represents the perspective of today’s modern-day cool girl. The New York “for girls, by girls” street label, MadeMe’s founder Erin Magee designed the pack. This collection exudes individuality, emanates girl-power vibes and emboldens creative independence. Magee’s take on this collection celebrates countercultural style ideas and broadens the convergence of communities to a new, global audience of cool girls spirit.

The shoes are inspired by 90’s rave attitude and New York City. The One Star pack comes to life in four colourways. A reissued washed suede is used on the Medieval Blue, and Core Black toned individuals, while the Garden Green and Vibrant Yellow follow a six-wale corduroy chunky ribbed fabric. All four silhouettes are accented by premium Napa leather, collars made out of goat leather and canvas lining on view. The total structure sits on the famous Platform sole. Iconic midsole stripes are applied in tonal contrast while the back has the Converse One Star logo patch. Over it appears the MadeMe logo and stars around the front midsole.
