Famed designer Virgil Abloh almost broke the internet when it was revealed that he was working alongside Nike earlier last year. With Virgil Abloh looking to many of the previous styles for his 2018 Collection, it’s hardly surprising that the Nike Air Presto is set to feature. This time around, a contrasting duo is expected to launch in a limited size run.

Thinking back to last year’s Off-White x Nike collaboration, it’s the Presto which was one of the most sought-after of “The Ten” series. Of course, the Jordan 1 remains the most expensive on reselling platforms, but this iconic runner follows it very closely.

Looking to modern industrial and contemporary design influences, Off-White gives the popular Nike Air Presto its most eye-catching transformation to date. The eye is instantly drawn to that oversized “AIR” insignia which is stamped with a velcro heel strap at the rear. Unlike the conventional neoprene crafted silhouettes, this shoe arrives with laser cut mesh and a chunky, padded tongue. It’s ultra comfortable and promises that foot-hugging comfort which is both breathable and lightweight.

That white and black colourways across the individual upper are accented by a translucent white and black lace cage and a set of white and black laces. Just like the 2018 edition, a sewn-on Swoosh sits across the sidewall with a deconstructed tongue that not only looks exclusive but delivers unbelievable comfort. As always, a chunky cable-tie feature gives that classic street aesthetic.
