Nike Air Force 1 Low Since 82 White Burgundy DQ7582-100

The Swoosh has prepared a vast collection of 40th Anniversary commemorative releases as the brand reaches an epic climax for Air Force 1’s big birthday. Among the styles arranged for the occasion is this logo-heavy concept that sees a brief history of emblems stacked in a layered fashion.  Following the deconstructed, transparent “Reveal” Nike Air Force 1 Low Since 82 White Burgundy that kicked off proceedings in style, this release presents a more traditional aesthetic.

Starting with a white leather base, Nike hits the upper with black and grey overlays in cracked leather. The lateral side showcases an embossed anniversary logo as well as “Nike Air” branding in red, while the medial side opts for perforated “AF1” lettering and another debossed anniversary logo. We've seen this style before in both the Air Force 1 Low and High iterations, but this is a brand new colourway that combines sail and team red with metallic gold accents. The heel logo pays homage to the original text from 1982, while a "40" is pressed into the leather at the heel. The insole is also stamped with an anniversary logo, and a translucent outsole reveals a red Air unit. Nike's Air Force 1  celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022, and the Swoosh is already prepping a slew of special releases to mark the occasion.
