Height was never an issue for Michael. While his fans — particularly his female audience — are not as fortunate, many of them will undoubtedly have fallen in love with the recently-released Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low SE, which connects the classic with a towering platform sole. The silhouette is set to provide a straightforward and more adaptable entry in a variety of colourways, many of which have re-created previous classics. This Air Jordan 1 Low LV8D Tan Suede style offers a new take the on 1985 original, but with a few key changes.

The tan and similar white colour scheme are switched up a bit, as the toe box and heel are now both done in premium suede. The rest of the upper consists of tumbled white leather, which is also present on the tongue and laces. A tonal Nike Swoosh provides the only pop of colour on the upper, while a Wings logo is debossed on the lateral side. Finally, a thick white foam sole houses a full-length Air unit, which is visible through perforations on the outsole.

Unlike its predecessors, this pair goes for suede rather than leather across the top: the base is a bright "Coconut Milk," while the overlays are slightly darker. The higher midsole then compliments the lighter of the two, and branding — such as on the heel's Wings and Jumpman — is printed extremely minimally.
