Nike Air Max 1 EOI White Multi CW6541-100

Even though Nike's signature Air Technology remained concealed for a while since the debut in late 1978, the exposure made quite a mark amongst sneaker fans! After eight long years of being fully hidden inside the midsoles, the first time the air tech got revealed was on an Air Max silhouette. Since then, the displayed air bubbles design quickly became a favourite feature songs sneakerheads. Now, we see this fun, techy look on most of Nike's highly coveted trainers.  The evolution still continues on the signature Nike models, even after three decades. Firstly, the white either construction keeps the look classy and old-school, with grey suede overlays accenting the back of the mudguards. The heel overlay also shows off a grey tone on one foot and orange on another, contrasting the white base. This release is part of the Evolution of Icons pack, which will hit the stores soon. To honour Air Max Day, the left heel flaunts 3.26 carved onto it. The insoles pay homage to all the past Air Max models, which are displayed on the insoles.

Each sidewall flaunts a unique Swoosh style, each of them done in a distinctly bright colourway giving off an exquisite look. Bright orange TPU panels hold the laces securely in place up top. Similarly, the lifted forefoot exposes the red-painted rubber outsoles, which also contrast the crisp white upper and midsoles. More tiny Swooshes grace the shoes around the toes and tongues.

Finally, the midsoles feature an extra chunky heel for additional speed, support and boost. Also, the most intriguing part is the visible air bubbles which are the highlight of this pair and lineup. If you want these contemporary trainers for running in your stash, you better stay alert!
