Nike Air Max 1 Tokyo Maze is going to make everyone even more confused about what pair to choose this Spring/Summer season! The On Air Collection is the ultimate sneaker goal for all the sneaker junkies. It has themes and expressions from all over the world and also come drenched with all the season-perfect colours. The campaign called masterminds from across the globe and let them go crazy with their ideas and insights. The result was this abstract and artistic collection of classic Nike beasts! Among the thousands of amazing arts, NYC, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Paris, and Seoul won the race. Yuta Takuman takes his inspiration from the tube lines spreading underneath Tokyo city. He kept it minimal yet fascinating which is quite difficult to balance!

This pair has a dizzying and swimmy graphic of maze all over to present the tube labyrinth of the city underground.  Takuman gives this theme a little mismatched aesthetic judging by the density of maze-detailing and the colour of tongue or insole. Follow @FastSoleUK for more details.

Do you feel trippy by looking at the maze graphics? It's hard not to gawk at it either! The crisp white leather base lets the tube maze spread all over playfully including the overlays. For a quirky and unique contrast, the pairs have a different density in the maze lines and the black and white insole for either pair as well. Rainbow laces and crimson red brandings pop up brightly from the somewhat crazy theme. The embossed leather represents the city’s concrete streets, and the red Air unit represents the Tokyo tower. A black midsole and the traditional Air Max aesthetics finish the look. In short, the leather upper has black maze graphics, but the colourful laces and red brandings.
