Nike Air Max 95 Doernbecher 2007 Varsity Royal 318351-411

Nike Air Max 95's 27th anniversary may not have had a high-profile collaboration yet, but the sneaker is still an essential part of Nike's product line. The latest example is the upcoming Nike Air Max 95 Doernbecher 2007 Varsity Royal colourway, which updates the classic silhouette with modern materials.

The latest 95 model features a combination of tan and blue hues on the mesh and leather upper, with 3M providing some contrast on the lateral side Swoosh. Additional elements include black nubuck overlays, a white and red midsole, and a black rubber outsole. The vibrant blue colour of the central vamp overlay and spine regions to which it is connected stands out, while lace loops and layered swooshes at the lateral heel add to the mix. The Air Max units add a little of the upper's flair to the foot, keeping things basic from Tresser's original design from 1995.

The branding on the top of the tongue and upper heel region changes its typical arrangement in favour of playfully designed counterparts that appear to put the newest AM 95 in a special collection; this part displays "95" messaging that appears to be a recently-seen Air Force 1 "82," which also had a distinct placement for its "82" brand. The Nike Air Max 95 Cargo Khaki is set to hit Nike SNKRS in Japan on September 21st, with a worldwide release expected soon. The "Have a Nike Day" Pack from earlier this year brought back some of Nike's most famous and iconic Air Max models from the 1990s, including the Air Max 95.
