Boasting an unusual combination of colour, odd materials, and clean new branding finishes, the launch is one of the most fascinating revealed this month. Here, cracked white leather-based uppers host the pairs of leather-based overlays, working from orange at the toe, Roma Green at the midfoot, and blue at the quarter. Orange appears again at the heel overlay, while green carries over from the eyestay to the tongue. Swooshes decoratively stitch in the black thread, with laces mimicking the end in the green. The pair is finished through an easy white and translucent-gum sole unit underfoot. The insole prints with the pair's title — Nike 101.

Kids' releases — mainly Dunks — are nothing new. However, with this upcoming take on Peter Moore's cherished design, Nike is trying to ignite a sneaker obsession at a younger age. Entitled "Nike 101," evidenced by the insole, the colourway is a starting factor for budding sneakerheads. Bold but common shades are rife throughout orange attire, the heel tab, and the toe cap, whilst turquoise and mild blues mark the eye stays and counter, respectively. Underneath these panels, cracked leathers proffer a neutral, incredibly greyish shade, which lightly contrasts the whites throughout the laces and midsole. So elsewhere, gum bottoms accent the shoe underfoot, yellow foam is unveiled at the edge of the tongue, and the Swoosh is outlined throughout the wall in black embroidery.
