The Chicago designer, Joe Freshgood (JFG), recently debuted his New Balance collection on the Sneaker Freaker magazine. Now he took the social media platforms to tease new releases from this collab. This particular pair will be in a capsule collection with apparel- “Outside Clothes.”

A special edition of New Balance 990v3 was only a matter of time. And this one takes inspiration from Joe Freshgood’s personal life as a native of West Chicago. As a result, this silo will drop with heavy hints of the vintage 1990s! The vibrant combination of blue, brown, and green looks pretty gorgeous for a shoe that’s fueled by classic aesthetics. Maybe because it’s the modern variation of the 990v3 series. You can spot how the brown suede and nubuck layers take control of this silo and let the green-blue accents pop off brightly. Last year JFG came up with a “No Emotions Are Emotions” collab with New Balance trainers for running. This time, the inspiration comes from Joe’s upbringing in Chicago in the 90s. First of all, the majority of this silo wears brown on the overlays. So, the green and blue accents peak out with a fresh vibe. This theme definitely looks quite vintage because of the colours and the construction. Green New Balance and JFG stamps and the blue "N" logo pop off from the brown background brightly. Blue on the underlays and midsole and the green plastic heel counter carry the brightness along.
