New Balance 990v4 Made 990 Grey is the fourth instalment to the classic 990 design donning the iconic grey colourway from the OG New Balance 990 back in 1982. This new addition to the Made series arrives just before the 40th anniversary of the initial release of the 990. New Balance 990v4 Made 990 Grey takes a step back from the recent collaborations to reiterate the original design with premium mesh and suede combination. The ENCAP cushioning is giving fans a hit of nostalgia. Fans are already standing in line to cop these cosy boys. So make sure you don’t miss out on these stylish silos!
The design shows a mix of premium suede overlays that encompass the mesh underlays that stretch to the heels. The see-through nylon mesh ensures excellent airflow and keeps your feet fresh and breathable. The heels feature the grey suede again with the New Balance logo over to the top of the ankle. The logo is a mix of metallic grey and red. Reflective ‘N’ logo at the lateral ankle and Version 4 contains hints of red to create a striking contrast against the all grey colour scheme. The lace unit is white and further ties the grey mesh tongue with the American flag in red sitting on the top.
The grey mesh design is complete with multi-toned grey and a white midsole with ENCAP cushioning to give you the utmost comfort and traction. All of this sits on a black outsole that comes with ABZORB-cushioning. New Balance also designed a heritage-inspired graphic on the liner to further symbolise the 40th-anniversary theme. The performance of this silo is engineered to perfection and will be your best pick for the upcoming winter! So follow @FastSolesUk to grab these kicks right in time!
