A Stealthy take on the Yeezy Slide “Onyx”

Adidas is recognised as one of the sneaker giants in the industry along with Nike, Pumas, etc. And one of their notorious sub-brand, Yeezy’s (Kanye West as the founder), is also famous for its take on shoes. However, this time they haven’t released a famous Yeezy sneaker. Oh no! Instead, they are putting forth a surprising intro to their latest Slides. Oh Yes! Yeezy is a brand that became popular for its comfortability in shoes, now that comfort comes in slippers. And they’re not just any slippers; they are Yeezy slippers. It means that even though there’s comfort, there’s also style and possibly a new trend. A Stealthy take on the Yeezy Slide “Onyx”. And the reason why it’s “stealthy” is because of how it blends with the background.

A new “Onyx” iteration of the well-acclaimed Yeezy Slides will hit racks in March alongside the “Pure” and “Ochre” colourways. Each pair dresses a tonal colour theme, with the first pair donning in a stealthy black colour. The “Pure” and “Ochre” hues of the slides sport a separate beige and brown colourway, which was on 13 Dec 2021.

And ever since Yeezy Slides made its debut back in 2019, we’ve craved a “Triple Black” hue to drop. After almost 2 years of lingering, it looks like YZY has eventually answered our calls, as the Yeezy Slide “Onyx” has just revealed. If you tossed your mind back in the summer of 2020, the “Soot” was initially supposed to be all black, but when it dropped, it came in a very dark brown rather.

If not, one of the comfiest footwear choices you’ll ever wear, this Yeezy is a mesh from some of the most vigorous EVA foam in the industry. Daubed here in a Stealthy “Triple Black” palette, the one-piece design gives it a simple yet striking aesthetic. The outsole traction shows grooves that provide flexibility and traction.

We don’t know much else about the adidas Yeezy Slide “Onyx” at this instant. However, our predictions suggest they’re set to drop next month on 7 Mar!
