And now, its Jordan Brand subsidiary is following in its footsteps. After all, it is the big 30th of the Air Jordan 7. Although it has been quietly celebrated because the retro sneaker is a staple in Air Jordan lineups each year, it did not receive as much attention as the Air Jordan 1 and 2. Besides, the latter had a standout year in terms of production. But Air Jordan 7 also had multiple collaborations on its rosters, including touches from Trophy Room, Bephies Beauty Supply and Quai 54. And now, to wrap up the year, Air Jordan 7 Celebrates OG Silhouettes in “Black Olive”.

For starters, the pair tributes to the sneaker’s history with its design. Firstly, it includes a nubuck upper that receives an olive base. Besides, it features black overlays in a combination reminiscent of 1992’s “Bordeaux” colourway. On the other hand, unique patterning last spotted on this year’s “Afrobeats” pair decorates the forefoot and heel. Lastly, “Cherrywood Red” branding and midsole accents combine with hits of “Chutney” to add colours to the palate and complete the look.
