Alexander Lee Chang Modified Vans Era With Magnetic Carbon Look
Alexander Lee Chang Modified Vans Era With Magnetic Carbon Look for those who love classic and contemporary blends. This is the fourth time the Japanese brand and Anaheim Vans are teaming up. Alex Lee made a bespoke Sk8-Hi last Winter, and now the designer is giving us a unique look again. Magnetic Fidlock replaces the lacing system or a dull, plain tongue tab on a slide-in shoe like this. The midfoot strap covers the later and medial sides and has a buckle to give you a safe closure.
This Vans Era runner tries to stay as classic as possible, but Alex Lee’s highly engineered feature of the Magnet Fidlock strap changes the game entirely! The construction and structure are more or less traditional. Carbon black spreads all over the upper, including the lock-strap and the nylon tongue. Black suede forefoot and heel cap have a velvety soft texture. The premium quality of waterproof nylon and neppy suede collide for a safe, comfy, and chic look for you. Dual brandings show off the team spirit from the insole. A tag on the collar says “eVent” for the fabric.
Just because of the lock-system, this shoe takes a straightforward colour palette of black and white. The carbon black upper body sits on top of a crisp white Vans Era midsole. A tiny branding flag pops on the sidewall. The outsole works both on the skateboard and on tracks. The bold red “Vans Off The Wall” label on the heel finishes the look. You can flaunt this beast with any outfit for any occasion!
