A case in point is the Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII Collection arriving this year with the likes of six young designers showcasing their creative talents. One of them is Riddhi Mahajan, who has brought playfulness to the collection with the fun elements in her designs. The vibrant colourway of the kicks evidently tells us Mahajan is all about happy and radiant vibes! As you can see, she uses angelic smooth leathers for the mid-foot, forest green nubuck for the throat and toe tips and grassy overlays across the forefoot. Besides, she sends out positive affirmations through the texts on the shoes, for example, the “Radiate Positivity” text in mismatching fonts over the Swooshes. Conversely, a cursive “Brand New Day” on the toe box also reminds us to start fresh no matter what the past holds! On the other hand, a sun icon replaces the Nike tongue branding on the left shoe. Other details include floral graphics on the lateral parts of the heel. Lastly, the multi-coloured laces hold the theme together and conclude the look.
