The first Nike Air Max 90 won widespread acclaim for its simple lines and classic design. The Nike Air Max 90 G maintains the iconic design of the shoe while adding golf-specific features, including built-in traction and a thin overlay to help keep water out.

Wearing a colour pattern of University Red, Photon Dust, White, and Black, the Nike Air Max 90 gets updated for golf with this version, featuring a White mesh upper with Grey and Black synthetic overlays. While adding a traction outsole for the golf course completes the design, University Red contrasting accents give the shoe a look reminiscent of the model’s legendary “Infrared” edition.

Nike’s golf collection for spring/summer 2023 also includes a “Game Royal” hue of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90 in addition to the “University Red” pair. Indulging in a colour pattern of Game Royal, Photon Dust, White, and Black and a classic design for golf, this version of the Nike Air Max 90 has a White mesh upper with Grey and Black synthetic overlays. The Game Royal contrast highlights on the shoe give it a retro Air Max 90 OG look, and its incorporated traction outsole for the golf course completes the look.
