The Nike Dunk High was first discovered in July, and Beijing-based retailer SOULGOODS has worked on not just one colourway for the high-top but three different variations. This is not the first time the duo has collaborated; they had previously worked together with Converse in 2021. For its olive green “90s” counterpart, the collaborative designers revisited one of their favourite classic albums in Chinese rock history and paired it with an East Coast hip-hop influence–complete with details such as an embroidered tiger logo that pulls from Wu-Tang Clan Dunks from ’99. Lastly, the “00’s” edition comes in an eye-catching neon yellow colourway that draws inspiration from a famous street basketball team that rose to prominence during the decade. ​
