Materializing as the prime antagonist of the “Vegeta Saga,” this character eventually became an anti-heroic and evolved into a secondary main protagonist post “Majin Buu Saga.” With a design inspired by Vegeta’s “ascended Super Saiyan” form, this shoe features an all-black upper with orange and blue accents, as well as white Nike Swoosh branding on the sides. Additionally, a green sock liner with the English translation of Vegeta’s famous introduction lines printed on it completes this design.

Since its debut in the iconic series back in 1986, Dragon Ball Z has become one of the most influential animated programmes to ever grace our TV screens. And thanks to sneaker designer Andrew Chiou, we can now enjoy yet another instalment to his ongoing concept series inspired by this pop culture phenomenon. In addition to the iconic orange and blue colourway, this model also boasts a green sock liner with the English translation of Vegeta’s famous introduction lines printed on it. The upper is constructed from premium suede for its durable yet flexible nature and gives off sleek vibes thanks to its monochromatic finish. Other details include white Nike Swoosh branding on the sides, a black back heel tab, and an icy translucent outsole.

Andrew Chiou’s Nike Dunk Low Vegeta concept is a remarkable representation of the animated villain-turned-Z Fighter. The faded blue base and white tones perfectly coincide with his original design, while details like panels and Swooshes represent traditional Saiyan armour, including a torso plate along with gloves and boots in a pristine white hue. Completed with a blue tongue and heel tab, this is one sneaker that can turn heads on the streets or in the Dragon Balls Z universe.

In addition to the tongue tags, “NIKE” embroidery at the back, and printed insoles adorn this shoe, midfoot Swooshes are designed with line details reminiscent of a Saiyan armour’s torso plate. The finishing touches include black sock liners and light brown laces atop weathered off-white midsoles set against contrasting dark blue rubber outsoles – creating an overall look that is sure to turn heads!
