Nike SB Dunk Low Panda Pigeon Releasing in January will bring mayhem into the streets no doubt there! It’s a quirky yet straightforward theme and quite frankly, a bold theme considering the competing runners! Honestly, it’s the most adorable and dorky drop by far this year. The subtle features of panda and the smug pigeon embroidery will take away all the attention. But what you didn’t know is that this design was a previously rejected sample. Now seeing it rising from the doom with new makeover makes us think how on earth was it refused?!
The mastermind behind the design is Jeff Staple who accidentally stumbled over the old archives and made it into a new one! He posted on Instagram with the “test” colourway of green, black, white which is now known as “Panda.” Follow @FastSoleUK for more.
There was a “Sample” text on the collar before, and now it reads “STAPLE” referring to the designer. What makes this runner take flight is the 0n-trend colour combination and, of course, the pigeon and panda hints. Premium black nubuck leather overlays and white leather underlays keep the theme under the radar along with a grey Swoosh logo. But the pigeon embroidery on the heel and green bamboo graphics from the sockliner let the idea running!
