Nike TN Air Max Plus “Tunned Max” Is Releasing With The Original “Celery” Colourway. The Tuned max sneaker, aka the nike Air Max Plus, was inspired by his 97 air max. It is no stranger to unabashedly borrowing colouring from fellow Air Max classics. But this recent release doesn’t need to arrive that far to build the connection. Inspired by the original “Celery” colourway of the Air Tuned Max. This forthcoming Air Max Plus deftly adapts one of the most known sneaker colourways of the late 1990s. This is the first time this has retired since its release. And that’s why there is a little bit of hype behind it.

These sneakers come with an eye-catching gradient effect to the colour blocking. It does change colour based on what angle you’re looking at it. And, of course, lighting factors in as well. So, it’s got that sort of green slash yellow look at some angle. On the other way, it has borderline purple-pink. That is one of the unique features of the sneaker on the overlays. It has synthetic material. So, it also got that smooth finish to the overlays. The underlays are surprisingly thin in this dark charcoal finish.

It got this sort of honey hexagonal look. Which is very breathable on foot. And we have got these tpu overlays as well. Which gives it a sort of skeletal look to it. Also, a futuristic one as well. On the lacing setup, it has a bog-standard setup. And then tongue has got that nice neoprene look. These yellow stripes go up the tongue on top of this nubuck panel with the nike swoosh. And then we have got five dots just underneath it. Inside it, we have that cotton mesh. Which is the shape of those hexagonal patterns on the insole. It is removable but looks proper cool.

It’s got a nice vibe to the pattern. We have black oval shapes on the top of this yellow insole. The colour blocking into the back is where it stands out a lot. It reminds me of that old-school Batman look we had in the 90s. It looks like a body sculpture or body armour. Moreover, the swoosh stitch in gold with the five circles below it. The air unit at the bottom is very transparent. And it’s got gold and yellow tins to it.

This upcoming release features a classic Air Max Plus construction and utilizes an anodized metallic upper to complete that signature copper look across the upper. A dark wine red overlay on the lava cage and the mudguard add more rouge to the colour scheme. At the same time, the exposed metallic gold at the outsole and midfoot provides an elegant touch. Our favourite element is undoubtedly the Tuned Air cushioning unit on the insole at the heel!
