Sean Wotherspoon’s Instagram Shows Off The Nike Air Skylon 2 Retro

The Air Skylon 2 was a 90’s cult classic. A smashing hit running shoe of then that ruled the era. Earlier this year Nike announced that the classic Skylon would make a return and we may get a retro release. Things are now pretty much becoming true. As Nike Sportswear’s unofficial frontman and famous collaborator, Sean Wotherspoon’s Instagram Shows Off The Nike Air Skylon 2 Retro.

The Air Skylon 2 was a 90’s star performance shoe. It was specifically designed for under-pronators and neutral runners. It was one of the flashiest running shoes of that era flaunting a gaudy gradient pattern with a splatter effect. Total four colourways with two for men and two for women ended up hitting stores.

What appears from Sean’s insta seems that it remains true to its origin and the re-release is returning with original Eggplant and Blue gradient colourway. Off-white nubuck poises the upper, while the clean white mesh is present throughout. Completed with the International logo on the insole, a black Swoosh logo shoots down the side panels for the unmistakably Skylon aesthetic.

Nothing is known about the Skylon 2, but we can hope for the official look and release date announcement pretty soon.
