This Trimm Star features a cream-coloured leather upper. There are multicoloured three stripes branding on both sides of each pair. A black suede hit on the back of heel. Minimal gold foil Trimm Star branding on the side panel. A gum outsole completes all of these. As a reflective declaration from the early ’70s training silhouette style, another noticeable feature from that time is the gillie loop lacing system in place of traditional eyelets.
The “VHS” nickname pays tribute to the old school practice of recording soccer games on blank VHS tapes. The use of cream, red, purple, orange, and black is a reference to the colours commonly featured on the box graphics of the tapes.
