Virgil Abloh Becomes The New Mens Artistic Director At Louis Vuitton 01

Virgil Abloh Becomes The New Mens Artistic Director At Louis Vuitton, and that’s the most exciting news the sneak freaks have heard in a long time! Abloh is not an uncommon name in the music world. His best works include the best-known 2012 album Watch the Throne. He is also Kanye West’s creative director. The Milan-based label Off-White was his brainchild, and it has been giving the sneak freaks quite a lot of treats!

Haute kicks from his label always caught the attention of sneaker maniacs. Now the famous European fashion label Louis Vuitton joined heads with him and stirred the sneaker cauldron so hard that not a soul wants to ignore the news! Follow @FastSoleUK for further bits.

This news is quite a big turn-out not because of the houses colliding but also because Abloh is a man of colour! There have been some black designers like Olivier Rousteing of Balmain and Ozwald Boateng of Givenchy. But Abloh seems to be at the zenith of the European fashion heritage! He, himself explained that he is elated and that he is planning to move to Paris with his family to go on with his work. He further said that the brand that has a pinnacle of luxury, is going to get modernised and re-energised for an entirely new generation of sneak freaks and that it will be a new chapter in the fashion history. Well, Mr DJ, we sure are waiting for a great outcome!

Louis Vuitton is a flaming name in the luxury goods industry, and Abloh’s touch in the menswear designs will surely make a massive difference regarding the merge of luxury and casual wear. “Virgil is incredibly good at creating bridges between the classic and the zeitgeist of the moment,” said Michael Burke, chief executive. Burke had seen his work before at Fendi and was, of course, amazed. Abloh is already on his projects and admitted that he has an eight-page “brand manual” of Vuitton culture.

Abloh received the Urban Luxe award at the British Fashion Awards last year, and he clearly stated that his vision is to make luxury penetrable for everyone. He also said, along the way, he won’t be derailed from the original touch of Vuitton.

By taking on LVMH, he won’t leave Off-White so fans need not panic! His fans should be waiting for his first collection with Vuitton in June during Paris Men’s Fashion Week this year. Keep up your crazy sneaker-selves and stay tuned to us.
