“What The Lobster” SB Dunk Rumoured To Make A Comeback

The upcoming “What The Lobster” SB Dunk is rumoured to make a comeback and create a storm in the sneakerdom.

A major throwback

When the SB Dunk Low “Red Lobster” was released in 2008, Concepts and Nike SB joined for the first time, and it was the start of the releases that made a separate mark of its own in the sneaker town. The Boston-based shop and Nike’s skateboarding division have collaborated on several releases, including various Dunks with lobster themes. While the most current release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Lobster” was released in December 2022, the “What The” motif series will round up the Concepts and Nike SB franchise.

However, this would not mean the end of an era. With the upcoming release, the duo has set new standards for unconventional silos that set you aside from the crowd!

The Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Lobster” is the most recent release in the 15-year partnership’s series of “Lobster” variations, with a Friends & Family “White Lobster” following soon after. And when the duo is teaming up one last time, they make sure the sneaker world reminiscences their past silhouettes. So, even if you have missed their former releases, getting this pair will compensate you for all!

While we have yet to receive the official look, we can already tell the kicks are drawing heavy inspiration from their siblings. The “What The Lobster” pays homage to earlier hues with its multicoloured appearance, which draws from each “Lobster” over the fifteen years. A mismatched theme nods to the “Lobster” colour scheme as well as certain unpublished Concepts x Nike SB Dunk samples, similar to the classic Nike SB Dunk Low “What The SB” and the Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Paul” colours.
