JJJJound x adidas Samba Beige

With JJJJound having already released projects with Reebok and New Balance, the upcoming collab with adidas will solidify its impressive portfolio. The Samba has had a huge year with top-tier brands such as Sporty & Rich, Humanrace and Wales Bonner all putting their own spin on a piece of adidas heritage. Sneakerheads will want to compare how the JJJJound x adidas Samba Beige pair stacks up against others, but it's only fair to judge it among the brand's other works.

The beige shoe is one part of a potential double-release Samba pack. Taking design cues from the recent adidas Originals line, this shoe features heavy nappy suede with a JJJJound touch. The mudguard and heel tab are made from fine brown suede to contrast the predominantly beige upper. The gum sole will make sneakerheads happy while also avoiding overcomplicated colourways—something that JJJJound would never do. The nylon tongue on this silhouette is a nod to the textured vintage style, using ridges that were originally designed for football players. In all, this shoe looks like it could be a winner. Those who are fans of JJJJound's New Balance collaborations will be more familiar with this shoe edition, but both editions are wonderfully made. With all of the previous adidas releases we have seen, this shoe will be another solid entry.
