The December holidays are rapidly approaching, and that means it’s time to get into the festive spirit! adidas is getting into the swing of things by releasing a “Forum Low” model inspired by one of the most popular Christmas films and books ever: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” With green upper and red laces, these Grinch x adidas Forum Low Green kicks are sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

Like adidas’ other licensed works — for example, the Campus 80s “Towelie” and several of their collaborations with The Simpsons — the Forum Low “Grinch” is a mostly accurate replica of the titular character’s design. A furry upper is topped by a bright red tongue and white laces, while a “grinch” patch on the collar and Grinch-brand insoles complete the look. As far as we know, they’re only available in kids’ sizes, so you’ll have to scour eBay if you want to get your hands on them!

The Three Stripes have left very little to the imagination with their latest design, emulating the Dr. Seuss icon’s fur by way of a hairy suede upper and vibrant colourway. Adjacent to the shoe, references to the film and book only become more overt, with pins, hangtags, and graphics serving as brief snippets of each. Unique features include the Grinch’s face on the heel bone and “Grinch” branding on the sockliner.

The Grinch x adidas Forum Low Green sneakers are displayed here. An official release date has not yet been announced. Keep your eyes locked on our official Facebook and Twitter pages to keep track of all the hot drops of Christmas.
