But no matter Yu-Gi and his buddies being sneakerheads themselves, the franchise has rarely had the chance to work with the sneaker enterprise on a collaborative level. Joining for the first time, the duo has prepped 4 Yu-Gi-Oh!-themed shoe options. And these four are surely going to be a bang for the buck!

For this collection, adidas has presented its new ADI2000 sneaker in two appearances alongside two new colourways on the acquainted Reptossage slide. All 4 show Yugi Mutou or Seto Kaiba with their respective summons of the Dark Magician or Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Both ADI2000 pairs start with a white leather-based base backed through mild blue accents on the “Seto Kaiba” colourway. And that includes most of the lavender hits on the “Yugi Mutou” look. Clad predominantly in white leathers, the ADI2000 shows direct nods to Yu-Gi, Kaiba, and their summons of choice.

Along one pair, the Blue-Eyes White Dragons sprawl throughout the 2000s-inspired sneaker. Along with Kaiba Corp, emblems were emblazoned onto the instep. And so it is the opposite. These designs change through the Dark Magician and Millennium Puzzle, respectively. Many of the equal influences carry over to the Reptossage, albeit utilised to a darker, black-dominant base. And that is to make up for what’s lost.
