Nike has stamped the Air Force 1 with the number "82" numerous times in celebration of its 40th anniversary, lovingly paying homage to the shoe's inception year. Despite the fact that it incorporates more current design elements, this coming colourway is yet another tribute to Bruce Kilgore's classic invention.  The Nike Air Force 1 82 Tan White shoe is constructed with a mix of leather and textile materials and an Air midsole for comfort.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Nike's Air Force 1, and to celebrate, the Swoosh is bringing back one of its original colourways. The "82" AF1 sports a white leather upper with red and blue accents, a nod to the American flag. The shoe also features an updated Air midsole for added comfort, making it the perfect way to celebrate four decades of one of Nike's most iconic shoes. The “82” is displayed on the tongue in a contemporary font, and the “NIKE” branding across the rear heel is also done in that style. The Circular Design logo then identifies the sockliner, signifying recycled materials. These, as well as creating the midsole, are utilized throughout the upper to form the bright tan overlays, white leather base, and twin yellow-on-black Swooshes.
