Nike Air Force 1 Colour Of The Month University Red FD7039-600

Celebrating its heritage from 1982, The Swooshes’ “Color of the Month” series has blended classic two-tone blocking with Bruce Kilgore's iconic silhouette. For this upcoming holiday season, Nike Sportswear is transforming the variously coloured Swooshes into a cohesive single-shade offering. Much like "Nike Air Force 1 Colour Of The Month University Red," the white-out versions are dropping in extremely limited runs. The Air Force 1's newest edition pays homage to its collegiate predecessors with a bold and vibrant "University Red" hue on its premium retooled leather upper. Contrasting white accents appear on the midfoot Swooshes and heel tab, featuring an 80s-style “NIKE AIR” font taken from the original silhouette. A pair of AF1 Lows will only be sold in Paris, while "the big one" is an Air Max 97 that's being sold through Nike SNKRS.

As for the Air Max 97, it is taking a step away from its usual metallic silver palette and injecting a retro-inspired "University Red" into its unmistakably smooth tumbled leather and mesh upper. Similar to the AF1 Low, this shoe also features white accents on the signature Swooshes around the ankle, heel tab and tongue, while an ANIMAL print wraps around the entirety of each shoe’s midsole. To finish off the design, Nike included a white midsole that pairs perfectly with its mini embroidered Swoosh.
