Many sneaker brands cover their most iconic sneakers in themed colourways that carry serious vacation vibes. This year, Jordan Brand is fetching the Christmas spirit to the shoe that began it all, the Air Jordan 1 Low. Over at the HQ in Beaverton, Jordan Brand designers are possibly through with Christmas. And the colourways they've organised in commemoration are now commencing to floor a few months before the merriest time of the year.

Somewhat odd of Christmas-inspired offerings, this Air Jordan 1 Low shrouds specifically in green leather. Christmas tree-like green shades on the leather-based mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel, pair nicely with the black nubuck underlays discovered on the toebox and quarter panel. Stamped atop this fabric mentioned above is a geometric pattern in a darker black hue, whilst the vibrant yellow laces atop the black mesh tongue provide a pop of colour.

Red is present, too, albeit only throughout the Jumpman branding. Which is relatively obscured through the louder yellow laces and matching Wings embroidery. Along the midfoot, a white Nike Swoosh runs back towards the yellow Jordan Wings emblem embroidery, retaining in theme with the Christmas-time shades. Rounding out the layout is a white AJ 1 midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole. And although blacked out, the base proffers the same impact as the toe, and the mid-panel etches a subtle, geometric pattern.
