It’s no longer uncommon to see Air Jordan 1 colourways get transferred throughout samples because, more frequently than not, if it works well on one version, it’ll do simply fine on another. Such is the situation with this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low that sincerely takes a page out of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bordeaux” of 2021. It applies a darkish red upper, a white base layer, and a mild grey Swoosh emblem for almost the same look. However, there are some key interpretations between the low-cut model in comparison to the extra coveted High.
First, these are fabrications with full-grain leather, as adverse to the suede used in the Jp-inspired take. Secondly, the Swoosh emblem has a matte look, whereas the originator opts for a metal sheen. The top hue could be extra of a Team Red than a Bordeaux as it skews away from wine-shaded hues. We’ve viewed the Bordeaux colourway before on the Air Jordan 1 High OG, and now the colourway drives its way onto the Air Jordan 1 Low, launching later this year.
