First of all, let's take a deeper dive into the colour palette. White and University Red pop up boldly and unapologetically from the basic black and white upper body. The premium stretchy nylon mesh underlays go crisp white, along with the laces and the tongue tab. As a result, the black nubuck leather mudguard and black synthetic eyelets pop up just right with the University Red Nike Swoosh. Similarly, the Nike Air branding and the AIR heel panel spice up the static theme with the same red hue.

Now if you notice the leather overlays draping the forefoot and the sidewall, you will see a unique pattern created by black waves.
