The Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape has been on the market for a little while, yet it already has a large number of versions. The brand is also adding more colours to the style in preparation for the season’s arrival. The shoe combines the Air Max 97 and Air Terra Ace elements, creating a brand new silhouette.
The mixed-material upper is made of leather, mesh and synthetic suede. Reflective materials are also placed on the tongue and heel for safety in low-light conditions. A black base with red and white details makes up most of the sneaker, with a hint of green on the outsole to add a little bit of contrast.
The latest colourway to appear is a white, black and red mix that is perfect for the summertime. The midsole’s side walls are Grind Rubber, which sets a dark background for its multi-coloured scraps. Immediately above is a light grey that separates the recycled sole unit from the white mesh and Oregon Green Swoosh. The branding adjacent, such as “Nike” text atop the tongue and “Terrascape” hit across the pull-tab, are dyed to match, adding more colour to an otherwise mostly neutral offering.
The Air Max 97’s signature wavy lines are present as well, but in black for a bit more contrast. You can expect this Nike Air Max Terrascape 97 to release on Nike.com and select retailers in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates.
