Nike Air More Uptempo Slide Black White

With the introduction of the Nike Air More Uptempo Slide Black White Slides, Nike is once again making headlines. The Swoosh has updated the traditional '90s basketball look into a pair of slides as an addition to the collection. The Air More Uptempo, which was originally designed by Wilson Smith III and inspired by Nike's Air Max2 CB, is one of the most recognizable basketball sneakers of all time. The original design featured a large "AIR" graphic on the upper that was meant to increase visibility and comfort on the court. The new slides take that same concept and apply it to a slip-on sandal. The Air More Uptempo II was created in honour of NBA vet Scottie Pippen's Air More Uptempo, which has the same tooling as the original pair and includes the signature black and white colour scheme. It also has a black nubuck foundation with a prominent "AIR" bubble letter in white, which is outlined in black. To finish off the current sneaker series, a visible Swoosh was included throughout. The Air More Uptempo II also comes in two additional colourways: an all-black pair and an all-white pair.
