Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 White

With the next version of the legendary Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 White running shoe line just weeks away, we provide you with a sneak peek at what's to come. Nike makes tiny modifications and subtle improvements to the model on an annual basis to refine the fit, yet the cushioning package generally remains unchanged. That's all about to change with the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33, as the model will debut a brand new sole unit. This is big news for the Nike Pegasus line, which has long been one of the most popular shoes among runners thanks to its great fit and comfortable ride. Now, with the addition of this new sole unit, the Pegasus Runners should anticipate a full React foam sole with forefoot Zoom cushioning (as indicated by the Zoom logo hit) if that's true for the Pegasus 39.

The Flywire-like lockdown cables are a change we notice. They provide more of an individual fit than before. The heel is tapered with a short “bumper” and Swoosh logo hit, textured to give it an elegant look while maintaining its aerodynamic shape. As for outsole traction, it's quite similar to what was seen on the Pegasus 38, so don't expect any different capabilities.

Nike's official announcement for the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 White is scheduled for April 28th. The shoes are currently set to retail at £100, although it's unclear if this white/crimson/royal colourway will be the debut release. It's probable that there will be a variety of colour options as well as Nike By You capability available throughout Summer 2022 and onwards.
