When Japanese cult brand Sasquatchfabrix decided to team up with Asics, they created Asics x Sasquatch Fabrix Gel PTG MT Light. A bootie sneaker for all the actual wilderness survivors.

Japanese label SASQUATCHFABRIX follows up on its another collaborative joint release. This time, the label links up with ASICS Tiger for a revised GEL-PTG MT, taking the heritage sneaker in a new direction. This collaboration sees the 35-year-old silhouette reimagined the classic 1983 Fabre Point Getter model, which was initially designed for basketball players. With premium nubuck uppers in a tonal khaki colourway seen on the laces, midsole and leather sock liner. The upper is made of canvas and suede while being covered in an army green shade.

The design concept is based on “from sports use to town use”. This silhouette features a padded hi-top and a trail sole. New detailing includes an elastic tongue strap that allows the shoe to be worn laceless and co-branding on the tongue patch. Rubber outsole secures safe traction and comfort. While acquiring the original design, it is a pair reborn as a sports lifestyle sneaker.
