The Nike Cortez has been relatively inactive recently, but that is starting to change with new inline offerings. Earlier this year, there was a collaborative effort with sacai and Union. More recently, the classic runner has appeared in both a “White/Black” colourway and one reminiscent of Georgetown University. A new design, the Nike Cortez Racing Rabbits, has just been released in official images. It resembles refined, sartorial footwear with a collegiate-inspired look. Unlike its counterpart, this pair is constructed mostly from tan leather that wraps around the upper from the toe to the heel. This lighter colour complements darker browns used on the kiltie running along the length of the tongue. The Nike Cortez “Racing Rabbits” shoes feature lighter tones like White and Sail on the Swoosh, laces, and midsole. Meanwhile, the sockliner is a dark blue colour with an image of racing rabbits.

The Nike Cortez has always been known for its clean and classic style, and the latest silhouette, the “Racing Rabbits” shoe, is no exception. This new design features refined materials in a light tan colourway to give it a collegiate-inspired look. This shoes upper is made from high-quality leather that covers the foot from toe to heel. The kiltie, a strip of fabric that runs along the tongue, is dark brown in colour. Other details include white Swooshes and laces, as well as a dark blue sockliner with an image of racing rabbits printed on it.
