It is the result of the latest collaboration between New Balance and outdoor-wear expert Danner. It is inspired by American craftsmanship and the project is dubbed as the American Pioneer project.

The shoe also includes waterproof materials to tackle earthly elements. It is powered with Gore-Tex, which makes it even better. Other details include reflective leather underlay with leather heel. The use of leather in collar provides added comfort. Dual tongue branding and a set of boot laces with a speckled rugged outsole in black complete this limited edition masterpiece.
