Mowalola and New Balance are creating an iconic silo together. We say Iconic, and you’ll know why when you buy one yourself! It is none other than Mowalola x New Balance 9060 Black Teal that will take you there. In current years, New Balance has pushed itself to remain at the forefront of shoes with an expansive portfolio of collaborations. Maintaining this position, the American sportswear company joined UK-based Mowalola for its Spring and Summer 2023 runway exhibit in Paris. And so, Kanye West took to Twitter to announce his WestDayEver. It protected naming Mowalola Ogunlesi as the Design Director for his Yeezy GAP line. The 90/60 is a hybrid sample that pulls technology from the 990 sequence and jogging shoe patterns like the 860. Key factors include a stretched “N” logo. It also has a diamond-shaped outsole, a tongue badge, and a heel split. The N emblem receives a split layout between the lateral and medial sides. And they are with a clear PVC fabric and a dot-matrix fashion font. More accenting shades reach close to the heel tab and its NB logo. And the logo sits simply above the plastic overlay wrapping around.

Underfoot, the chunky dual-layered midsole takes on a closely all-black hue with an accenting yellow hit on the purple pair and pink featured on the teal colourway. Rounding out the aesthetic is the black rubber outsole. Packaging will show a calligram of Mowalola’s M emblem alongside co-branding between her and New Balance. The two colourways utilise black as the base. And that is with the first carrying purple overlays and branding. Whilst the 2nd favours teal, the aesthetic is done through yellow and pink accents, respectively.
