The New Balance Allagash, the brand's low-top cousin, is being reintroduced in light of the buzz around its partnership with Aimé Leon Dore. Meet the New Balance Allagash Rainier Glazed Ginger.

The Rainier was first introduced in 1982 and advertised as a boot that could go anywhere and included the principles of running for a comfortable, cushioned ride. Now, just after marking its 40th anniversary, the sneaker is back. Its robust structure can withstand whatever a city slicker throws at it, as seen in a modern colourway. You can navigate even the roughest sidewalks with the help of a sticky Vibram® outsole, and the traditional foam midsole will smooth your steps with each stride.

Luxurious brown leather overlays wrap the mudguards, lateral panels, ankles, and heel counters in its original "Glazed Ginger" colourway with a smooth finish. The quarters are debossed with the iconic "NB" logo, and the black tongue badges also have extra insignia. For a secure wearing experience, metal clasps take the place of standard eyelets. Lastly, black rubber bottoms with grip-improving Vibram outsoles complete the design of this vintage pair.
