The University Of North Carolina was Michael Jordan’s former stomping ground where he sharpened his skills between the hoops before hitting the global stage and becoming the world’s most influential basketball athlete. As the name would suggest, this latest deconstructed Jordan 1 features the iconic UNC colours.
It’s clear that Nike is looking to capitalise on the historical success of Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” collection by releasing a ton more in 2018. A sewn-on tongue sits across the sidewall, and “AIR” insignia is stamped to the midsole.
