AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force Orange DM8465-800

AMBUSH and Nike are releasing blue and orange versions of their popular Air Adjust Force shoes, which were originally released in white and black last month. The return of the colourways follows the Dunk High model's 2021 release from AMBUSH, again drawing inspiration from previous designs. While continuing to work with other major labels in the business while adding creative touches to Nike items, Yoon Ahn, Creative Director and co-founder of AMBUSH, also applied her punk-meets-streetwear style to the Air Adjust Force. This time the AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force Orange returns to bring the light.

The Air Adjust Force is a basketball shoe that was first released in 1992. It was designed by Eric Avar and featured a number of innovative design elements such as an external heel counter and visible Air technology in the forefoot and heel. The pair in orange features a white leather upper with an orange Swoosh and heel tab. This month's black-and-white version is reversed, now featuring a black leather upper with an orange SwoOSH and heel tab. Both pairs are completed with a translucent outsole that exposes the AMBUSH logo at the forefoot.

Upon closer inspection, we can see that the new release still has removable covers from the heel to midfoot. These are focal points, with collaborative branding spread out throughout. Both pairs come equipped with Nike Grind rubber soles made from recycled materials. The "orange" pair is mostly orange with black accents and an orange hue running through the upper. On the other hand, the "Black" version features a black upper with white contrast stitching and highlights of green throughout.

The AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force Orange will be available at the end of this year. These shoes have a maroon hue hitting the laces and lining, giving them a bright, tonal appearance. Follow our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
