Concepts Nike Kyrie 7 Horus Teal Blue CT1135-900

It looks like the Concepts Nike Kyrie 7 Horus Teal Blue is dropping to intrigue our excitement over Egyptian history and myths! Admit it or not, you try to check out all about Egyptian Deities, how pyramids were made, or maybe why they worshipped cats so much? Here's a stunning Kyrie boot dropping with the Egyptian myth flavour that everyone will fall for. However, the colour scheme is so striking that the colours might be the first thing that captivates. Then the details and theme will do their work. After all, the refreshing combination of Teal Blue and tangy orange grab the attention more than anything else.

Back in 2018, we got to see a Kyrie 5 dressed in a unique theme, “Ikhet.” It took its inspiration from the Great Pyramid of Giza! The theme was praised by everyone and not just Egypt-history lovers. It wore a sand beige upper with contrasts from purple, symbolising the Egyptian pyramids and the sunset in the area. Unlike that one, this particular Kyrie 7 is ready with the national tutelary deity of Egypt, Horus. Horus is a deity with a "falcon-head" and wore red-white as a symbol of kingship. Some of you might know about "Horus" from the Wilbur Smith Egyptian novel series. "The Eye of Horus" rings any bell? We'll get to that later. First of all, the upper body goes all blue with the Teal Blue shades. The mesh layers and synthetic overlays look really vibrant because of this blue. If you look closely, you will see some Egyptian symbols gracing the eyelets in tonal hues. Likewise, the sidewall shows off a massive Eye of Horus with metallic silver, unlike the Kyrie 5, which had the Eye of Ra. This version of  Kyrie 5 really makes the best use of Nike's original engineering and Egyptian iconography. As a result, the homage to Egyptian history and myth becomes successful.

On the profile Nike Swoosh, the metallic silver layer shows off a feather texture on synthetic material. The Concepts Nike co-branding and finally, an orange Kyrie 5 midsole finish off this design.

Concepts Nike Kyrie 7 Horus Teal Blue will release on May 19th via listed UK and European retailers.
