Earlier, the Swoosh team attempted to bring the sacai flavour to one of their most beloved, time-honoured runners with the Waffle one. It is now set to refurbish the magic with the vintage theme Air Pegasus ’83, but more soberly. The upcoming release makes green look like a match made in heaven with black. Following suit of the blue colourway revealed in April, the latest innovation takes the same construction. However, it dresses in a new duo of colours to bring about a newer iteration. Firstly, green becomes dominant as it dresses the nylon on the toe region, lateral sides and tongue tab. The base gets greenified, and so does the inner mesh. Secondly, the leather lining at the tip of the toe region introduces a contrasting black that also appears on the heel counter. Conversely, lateral sides display double Swoosh differing in colour, contrasting black and white and making for the perfect colour breakage.

On the other hand, the baby Swoosh embroidery lies atop the black leather in front. The black leather does not stop here as it further goes to line the tongue tab. Additionally, the white laces sit on it, all ready and tied for the wearer. Subsequently, the grind rubbers play the role of contributing to a greener planet with their sustainable material.
