This summer's edition of Nike's annual N7 release will include a special colourway of the Kyrie Low 5 that pays tribute to former NBA player Kevin Durant, who has been an outspoken supporter of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline. Nike will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this shoe to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe's N7 Fund, which supports youth sports and fitness programs in native communities. The Kyrie Low 5 "N7" will be released on June 21, 2021.

The Kyrie Low 5, which was previously only available through Nike affiliates, is coloured in traditional hues and themes; a tan base is complemented with a lively palette including mauve, light turquoise, and mossy yellow. This sneaker's midsole has a marble-like pattern that ties it to the rest of the 2022 N7 footwear collection. The Kevin Durant-inspired colourway of the Kyrie Low 5 is a nod to his advocacy for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. The colour palette on this shoe includes navy, white, and gold, which are the colours of the tribe's flag.
