Nike Shox R4 Metallic Silver 104265-045

Nike Shox R4 Metallic Silver is another hard-hitter from the Shox series. This design was already quite futuristic when it dropped about twenty years ago. The new year 2019 has been going great for some fans because we got to look at many colourways last March. For now, we only know about two themes running alongside. This Metallic Silver and the other one is Guava Ice. The colour palette is quite similar to the Shox R4 Black (BV1111-008) except for the disc pillar on the heel. For this issue, the team uses a tonal black shade to match the Metallic Silver palette. It's back from the archives and shows off a tremendous amount of sass by still being a favourite one after all this time! The year 2000 was a high tech time for this series where this Shox runner had hints from science fiction movies!

From afar, you may not notice how unique the design is. It looks like it has covered midsole or no separate midsole at all. But it's because the extension of the upper foot blending with the lower foot. The massive supporting pillar on the heel-sole let your footstrikes be safe and confident. The silver side panel merges with the black upper, forefoot, and heel. Bold Nike Shox branding on the tongue pop up. An embroidered Swoosh logo holds the pride.

Nike Shox R4 Metallic Silver releases May 16th via listed UK and European retailers. Nike is looking back to the old glories and taking out the original colourway for this street wrecker this season. You don’t get to walk away from its boldness!
