Stüssy x Nike Air Penny 2 Green Black DX6933-300

Following the release of its Holiday '22 collection, Stussy has dropped another style from its Nike Air Penny 2 collaboration. The latest iteration of the retro hoops Stüssy x Nike Air Penny 2 Green Black model arrives in a classic black and white colourway, equipped with four different materials to construct its upper. Its leather panelling discerns against sections of mesh and suede, while padding at the ankle collar makes for added support on-court. A materialised heel shield adds some form to the shoe's structural silhouette, while Stussy branding is prominently featured throughout — especially on the tongue, back heel and outsole below.

The new pair of shoes abandoned its predecessor's dark, tonal arrangement and indulged in “Green Flash” flair. A Converse One Star Pro “8-Ball” recently featured this same streetwear trend. Suede panels around the tongue hallmark the eye-catching green tone, deviating from the pitch-“Black” that takes over most of the remaining real estate across the upper. White accents on the Swoosh, ankle collar and outsole create a nice distinction that isn’t too dark or too light.

The logo on the Stüssy shoes is inspired by graffiti. It can be seen on the side of the shoe as well as underfoot. The construction at the back of the shoe has a reflective finish, while Air Max units feature red contrast that also appears on custom-branded shoeboxes.
