Vans Authentic Granny Check Brown

Vans has long been known for its collaborative endeavours, from WTAPS to a forthcoming collaboration with Joe Freshgoods; the brand's GR output also deserves praise. And their newest collection, "OG Granny Check," takes inspiration from a unique source: grandma's house. Specifically, the set pays homage to grandma's trademark crochet blankets by recreating them in three different colours of the Authentic. The new iteration will be Vans Authentic Granny Check Brown.

The shoes are constructed of a sturdy canvas upper with a vulcanized rubber sole and feature an all-over print of the crochet blanket pattern in either blue, pink, or yellow. The shoes are finished off with metal eyelets and Vans' signature waffle outsole.

The Vans OG Granny Check collection is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a unique pair of shoes that will add some personality to your outfit. And at $60 a pair, they're surprisingly affordable for a limited edition release. So if you're feeling lucky, grandma's house might just be your next stop. The choice is based on a canvas base that has been brown, black, and ecru painted. Three distinct motifs are represented on the top: sunflowers, multi-coloured squares, and equally colourful spirals, all of which are equally vibrant.
