In 2017, we saw the Nike Air Max 97 had its revival. Now when it comes to 2018, which silhouette should be re-hyped? It doesn’t get bolder than the Nike Air Max 98 South Beach. This silhouette launches with a Miami-inspired vibe. Think of all those neon-lit bars and balmy summer evenings!

Nike is unveiling a new style every few weeks as part of this anniversary celebration. And what better way to celebrate than with a bunch of iconic and striking colourways?!

It’s been twenty years since the release of the first ever Air Max 98. Now the new Air Max 98 South Beach – otherwise known as ‘Kinetic Green’. Thanks to that eye-popping theme, this shoe is designed to instantly grabs attention. The distinguishing feature: the somewhat “different” lacing and the little swooshes on the inside and the toebox. You might think that 98 may be a less known line of the swoosh brand but make no mistake, this year the silhouette is much better known, and it is worth every inch seeing.

Vibrant colourway hits extend across the tongue as well as the rope laces and Air Unit underfoot. It’s somewhat adjusted out by the grey colourway which extends across the lightweight mesh material. To complement the look, navy is utilised for the leather mudguard as well as the integrated lacing system. The air unit has inherited the Air Max 98 from its predecessor, even if it has been minimally adapted.

Nike Air Max 98 South Beach is announced to be released on 10th May via listed UK and European retailers. If you’re hoping to cop this silhouette, be sure to follow us on social media @FastSoleUK for all the updates and release news.
